Amy Lawson Moore, PhD
Cognitive Psychologist
Dr. Amy is a cognitive psychologist, clinical researcher, child development specialist, and parent educator. She is also the Director of Psychology & Research at LearningRx World Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO where she specializes in cognitive rehabilitation training and cognition assessment for neurodevelopmental disorders, ADHD, brain injury, learning disabilities, and age-related cognitive decline. She also serves as VP of Research at Gibson Institute of Cognitive Research. Her ground-breaking brain training and assessment research has been published in peer reviewed medical and psychology journals and presented at conferences around the country. She has a PhD in psychology and a master’s degree in early childhood education. Dr. Amy struggled as a neurodivergent learner and has been working with neurodivergent learners for 30 years…so she gets it. As a Type 3 Enneagram classic overachiever, she is a TEDx Speaker, a board-certified Christian counselor, podcast host, writer, an ADHD mom, and a mom with ADHD.
Dr. Amy is married to Jeff Moore, a retired Air Force fighter pilot now working as a surgical nurse. Their book, Hearts-On ADHD Parenting: Brain-Based, Grace-Filled Strategies for Raising Kids with Big Emotions and Challenging Behaviors comes out this July. They have three incredible sons (ages 21, 25, and 27) and a very mischievous but soft Siberian cat. Originally from South Carolina, Dr. Amy has called Colorado home since 2006. Sandy is a mom of 2, a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist, and the owner of LearningRx Staunton-Harrisonburg in VA where she spends her days improving the lives of struggling students through brain training. Her diverse background includes being a USA Swimming Coach, probation officer, homeschooling mom, and small business owner. Sandy has been married for almost 3 decades and her passion is helping families understand learning challenges so that children can find success and confidence.

Dr. Jody is an audiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children with auditory processing disorders. She is also a certified success coach and trainer, and the Director of Support at LearningRx World Headquarters in Colorado Springs. Originally from Wisconsin, Jody has been married for more than 33 years, is mom to 3 adult children, grandma to 5 grandchildren and dog-mom to her rescue, Mikey. She spends her free time with family – traveling, biking, exploring breweries and restaurants and cheering for Milwaukee Brewers baseball. She also co-hosts another podcast, The Sisterhood of Success, with her sister.
